Equine-Facilitated Seminars

    Why Horses?

Horses respond directly to the authenticity and clarity of an individual’s intention. This provides immediate feedback on ones presence, emotional regulation, and the ability to influence without dominating. The goal of this service is to foster lasting professional and personal development through self awareness, confidence, effective communication, cohesion within the group, and promotion of leadership traits for individuals.

Leadership requires much more than technical skills and business acumen. One of the most innovative approaches for cultivating these traits is equine therapy - using the natural behavior of horses to mirror and develop leadership skills. Integrating equine therapy into company leadership retreats or team building and development retreats offers a unique and highly effective way to enhance personal growth, team dynamics, and emotional intelligence. This leads to more resilient and capable leaders, and team members.

    Who Benefits?

Businesses and Nonprofits who want to offer their staff an out of the box and specialized team building or leadership experience.

Educational Institutions such as college psychology departments for students or staff who are interested in the human horse connection as a clinical modality.

Professional and College Athletic Teams can benefit tremendously given the interactive nature needed to work together as a team.

Veterans tend to make quick bonds with horses, and when facilitated properly, this can have far more impact that traditional talk therapy.

Treatment Facilities have historically been one of the populations that we have worked with the most, as groups we offer are conducted by licensed clinicians who are also horsemen and women. This has proven to be a valuable auxiliary service to psychotherapy.
